About Mom Loves Best
Moms Helping Moms
Because all our writers are moms too, we’ve been where you are and we’ve felt what you’re feeling — the crushing panic that takes over you when your child is sick, the judgment you can feel from almost every person in your life about your parental decisions, and that struggle to maintain some sense of your former self even though you’re a mom now too.
We get the guilt you’ll experience if you’re going back into the working world. We’ve been there too, hiding the breast pump from our coworkers like we’re smuggling in contraband just to avoid uncomfortable interactions. And if you’re a stay-at-home mom, we’ll support you also — you have a difficult, demanding job too.
What You Can Expect From Us
We don’t believe in judging others — we believe in sisterhood. Our journeys are all different in ways, even if they are similar at times. We don’t walk in your shoes and you don’t walk in ours, but we are all along the same path.
We’re here to give you the best information and facts we have, based on our experiences as moms, our medical training, and all the hours of heavy research we do on the topics we write about. If there is something we don’t know about, we look for the most up-to-date resources to get the latest information for you.
What you do with that information is totally up to you. We’re too busy trying to figure out what’s best for our own families to judge you at all. Besides, we believe moms should support each other — not tear each other down.
Meet Our Team
We are dedicated to ensuring our content is current, scientifically accurate and focused on you, the reader. Our team of medical reviewers’ extensive training, research, and real-life experience helps make sure we are providing you with information that you know you can trust.
Our Advertising Policies
You’ll notice on our site that we do show advertising because we need to make a living too. But we only recommend products we personally love or believe will be a real asset to readers for their specific needs or situation.
While we’re clearly not against earning money, we’re also not out to part you from yours unless it’s going to be something that helps you. We want to help our fellow moms, not make things harder for them! We know money can be a source of stress when you’re a parent, so we are responsible with our recommendations.
We’ll never take payments from companies or brands to promote their products. So if you see us list something, you can feel confident there’s a good reason for it. And we will clearly label when products we are promoting will result in us earning a commission.
